I'm enjoying a huge rediscovery of Gong thanks to my children and Steve Hillage/Miquette Giraudy! Although my children have loved trawling through my wide and varied music collection and have each taken their own particular favourites with them, I didn't expect them to react to Gong in the way they have. It started when my youngest son and I went to see the Steve Hillage Band (Gong) last year. I played him Camembert Electrique to show him who Gong were, and it was like I'd electrified him!

I bought the discography and have been playing it nonstop for days. Steam is emerging as a favorite, but the whole oeuvre has not disappointed.
